Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aviero was born on the 5th February 1985 on the island of Madiera,Porugal he grew up as a footballer when he was very close to his father.His father was coach of a football team,father and son were unseprable.
He learned to play on a tatty make shift pitch helping his father with the football team.
"He always wanted to win win win" said the mayor of Madiera
" Everyone all over Portugal,Europe, all the kids in the whole world want to be like Cristiano Ronaldo.
At the age of just 20 he had to deal with the death of his father.
"I am sad about err the death of my..my father...he err taught me alot and i will miss him he is always in my heart" said Cristiano.
At the age of 11 Cristiano Ronaldo had to move to Sporting Lisbon and he had to put his schooling education on hold.
" I told Cristiano's family that he had a talent for football and this is his future" said Cristiano's god parent.
" His tricks annoy people, someday Cris will get hurt" said patrice Evra
" Some people say he is the best player in the country.But i would go further i would say he is the best player in the world!" said Alex Ferguson.
Cristiano Ronaldo has a contract with Manchester United untill 2012 then his decision will lie with Spain.
